In celebration of UNESCO’s International Mother Language Day, Dwight School Seoul held its fifth annual event, V.I.P. Reading Day. Mr. Asad Abbas Awan Deputy Head of Mission participated on behalf of Embassy of Pakistan. He read a story for children to a class of Grade-3 and showed them various pictures of Pakistan. The very intelligent students of Grade-3 asked fascinatingly detailed questions which were a delight to answer. A day which has been observed since 2000, International Mother Language Day promotes linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism. We hope to continue the interaction between Embassy and the Dwight School.
