A even was held at chancery on 28th October 2016 to mark the “Kashmir Black Day”. The event was attended by nearly 40 members of Pakistani community members from various walks of life. A presentation was delivered by the Mr. Asad Abbas Awan, Head of Chancery on the genesis of the Kashmir dispute, the United Nations Security Council’s Resolutions and the latest developments on the issue. Audience was given a thorough over-view of the environment in which the military occupation was conducted by India on the ‘Black Day’ with sham excuse of the accession document.
The Ambassador read the messages of President and Prime Minister of Pakistan and highlighted the atrocities of India in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
The Ambassador stated that Pakistan would continue to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris until they achieve their right to self-determination.
