Pakistan-Korea Investment and Business Conference 2018

Pakistan has been declared as one of the next 11 emerging economies of the World. The Price water House Coopers, in a recent research report advised that by the year2030, Pakistan in terms of Global GDP growth, will attain the status of eleventh largest economy globally.

Nature has endowed Pakistan with an over 900 kilometers of coastal belt suitable for deep-sea ports. With factors like trained hardworking labor, investor friendly investment policies and well planned industrial Zones having all basic infrastructure makes it a choice destination for Foreign Direct Investment.

However, due to external factors and long drawn struggle against terrorism, its potential was not been fully realized. The Government of Pakistan following a considered policy through Ministry of Commerce and Textile embarked on an ambitious plan to rebrand Pakistan with a well thought and relentless campaign under the slogan  “Emerging Pakistan”.

In continuity of that narrative and to further the cause of the Government of Pakistan, Pakistan Mission to the Republic of Korea is organizing a one-day conference under the theme of “ Emerging Pakistan – Potential for Bilateral Investment and Trade” on June 25, 2018 at Grand Hyatt Hotel, Seoul.

The attendance is restricted through invitation only and the event is structured to focus on bringing Korean Investors and Buyers in Large and SME sector together at a single platform together with Public officials, representing Governments and Private sector, representing corporate and SME sector in Pakistan to share ideas and experiences to build relationships and new business synergies.
