Embassy organized a photo exhibition “A Journey through Pakistan” showcasing Pakistan’s diverse heritage, scenic landscape, beautiful and vibrant people with their handicrafts and Paradise on earth i.e Kashmir. The exhibition was arranged at a historic building which was formerly a church used by the Korea Air Force Academy for its cadets. It is also National Registered Cultural Heritage site.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by diplomatic corps, senior members of Korean cultural and trade Associations, leadership of Korea-Pakistan Friendship Association, representatives of Korean media houses, Pakistani students and social media influencers. A documentary video on Pakistan was also played during the event. At the end of the ceremony, lucky draw was held and President of the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), Mr. Heungchong Kim gave the winner a calligraphy painting.
The exhibition will last for three days until 5th February and hopes to get more public visitors being a public art gallery.
