MINISTER OF GENDER EQUALITY AND FAMILY, HER EXCELLENCY KANG EUN HEE, CHIEF GUEST AT PAKISTAN DAY RECEPTION AT SEOUL PRAISES GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN FOR ITS EFFORTS TOWARDS ENHANCING WOMEN’S RIGHTS AND SOCIAL STATUS
Her Excellency kang, Minister of Gender Equality and Family, as Chief Guest on the auspicious of Pakistan National Day reception at Lotte Hotel Seoul, appreciated the achievements of Pakistan in women empowerment and said that it reflects not only the continuous efforts of the Pakistan government but also the strong will power of Pakistani women. She congratulated Pakistan’s envoy Zahid Nasrullah Khan for arranging such a befitting reception and quoted Quaid-e-Azam on women’s important role in the development of the nation. Ambassador Khan welcoming 300 guests attending the reception, inter-alia, highlighted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s prudent policies in Pakistan’s economy was experiencing a period of optimism and his policies of peaceful neighbourhood and regional connectivity to achieve peace and prosperity for the region. The envoy also read out a congratulatory message by former Korean Prime Minister Chung Hong-won, who visited Pakistan in April 2014, that called for stronger ties between the two countries,
