Muhammad Shabbir and Mehmood Ahmed, two Pakistani brothers, saved four (04) precious lives and provided medical assistance to dozens of injured people during the unfortunate and tragic incident in Itaewon last weekend. Mr. Shabbir is a qualified nurse used all of his medical knowledge, experience and energy to to provide emergency assistance. Mr. Mehmood, despite being hurt himself, provided assistance to rescue staff and local police, locating and transferring injured persons to ambulances.
The Embassy of Pakistan appreciates their selfless endeavor and service to fellow human beings during this hour of need.
Truly, they have depicted the real spirit of our religion Islam and humanity and are Ambassadors of our country and its people.
