A delegation of Songuo Motors led by its CEO, Mr. Tim Shin visited the Embassy of Pakistan to meet with Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch. The delegation briefed on the company’s plans for investments in Pakistan including in production of electric vehicles and low-cost housing.
Songuo Motors has entered into a joint venture with a consortium of Pakistani companies to produce electric rickshaws and motorbikes in Pakistan for Sazgar Engineering Works.
This is the first project under the recently announced Electric Vehicle policy by the Government of Pakistan and would contribute to energy conservation and protection of the environment.
