Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch was a keynote speaker at the 2021 Asia-Pacific Financial Forum held in Seoul where she spoke about international cooperation for global economic recovery.
In her remarks on the occasion, Ambassador said COVID epidemic and the emergence of vaccine nationalism has highlighted the need for multilateralism and working together to find common solutions. She underlined the need to develop holistic and novel approaches for regional integration and global governance and upholding and strengthening the WTO system.
Ambassador Mumtaz Baloch also shared Pakistan’s vision of regional connectivity and win-win prosperity to develop trade and energy corridors which can benefit the entire region. She said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has brought tangible and productive outcomes for Pakistan and invited Korean companies to invest in Pakistan’s Special Economic Zones.
