A flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan, Seoul, South Korea on the 14th of August, 2016 on the occasion of the Independence Day of Pakistan. The ceremony was attended by the officers and staff of the Embassy of Pakistan and prominent members of the Pakistani community from different walks of life, residing in South Korea (Republic of Korea).
The ceremony commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, which was followed by flag hoisting and playing of the National Anthem. Messages from the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan were read on the occasion. The Ambassador of Pakistan to the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Zahid Nasrullah Khan also addressed the gathering on the occasion and exchanged views with members of the community.
H.E. also attributed all Martyred souls of Pakistan especial the recent martyred souls in Quetta.
